Larry enjoys coming to work with a smile, and leaving with one at the end of the day. He started working for Nationwide in 1993 with his father-in-law Anthony Marcenelle on Eden Park Blvd in McKeesport. Since January 1996, he has been an associate of the Garland Agency, specializing in home and auto insurance.
Larry grew up in Pitcairn and never left the valley. Over the years he's lived in Wilmerding, Turtle Creek, and has been in Monroeville for over 25 years. He graduated from Gateway High School in 1967 and is a current board member of the Henry Furrie Scholarship Committee. The committee gives out scholarships to student athletes who perform community service.
Before joining Garland Agency, Larry served in the US Army from 1969-1972. He also worked at Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh, sold cars in Monroeville and worked as a maintenance supervisor for Red Roof Inn.
He enjoys hunting, fishing and golfing, and like many Pittsburgh natives, he's a devoted fan of the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins and Pitt. Larry has been married to his wife Tawnie for over 40 years and they have one son, Andrew.
Call Larry for an enjoyable insurance experience.
